Nightwish, banda Finlandesa de Kitee, foi recentemente especulada por Steve Harris para ser a banda que irá carregar a bandeira do metal para as próximas gerações. Uma banda que está na ativa desde 1996, com um som que alguns caracterizam como Metal Sinfônico, outros chamam de Metal Melódico; a verdade é que o Nightwish pode ser tudo isso ou nada disso, mas é simplesmente pesado, com letras belíssimas e arranjos de fazer qualquer um chorar até os olhos secarem.

No dia 7 de fevereiro, a banda resolve nos surpreender com um novo single: Noise. A música tem um clipe e uma letra que mostram o uso excessivo de celulares e remédios e um mundo distópico, remetendo ao universo de Matrix.

O single é apenas uma amostra do que está por vir. A banda pretende lançar o novo disco, Hvman Natvre, no dia 10 de abril de 2020 (mesmo dia que o muito aguardado Final Fantasy VII Remake também será lançado). E pelo site já dá pra ter uma ideia de que essa obra poderá proporcionar muitos orgasmos auditivos, um CD conta com diferentes faixas, incluindo a faixa Noise e, o segundo CD conta, com o que parece ser, uma grande canção (All The Works Of Nature Which Adorn The World) com diferentes movimentos, cada qual com seu nome (The blue, The green etc).

Tuomas Holopainen é um compositor de espetacular, e como sou grande fã que sou de seu trabalho, creio que esse disco promete uma experiência de arrepiar. Percussor de Endless Forms Most Beautiful, Hvuman Natvre será o nono álbum de estúdio da banda, o segundo contando com Floor Jasen nos vocais, Troy Donockley com seus diferentes instrumentos e Kai Hahto na bateria. O disco parece que irá ser tão épico quanto o seu antecessor. Por agora só podemos aguardar ansiosamente pela chegada dessa obra e lembrar que no dia 9 e 10 de Maio teremos shows no Espaço das Américas (SP) e no Vivo Rio (RJ), respectivamente!

‘Noise’, the new Nightwish single

Nightwish is a Finnish band from Kitee, which was recently nominated by Steve Harris to be the band that will carry the torch of metal to the next generation of headbangers. The band has been active since 1996, they have a sound that some may call Symphonic Metal, Melodic metal etc; the truth is that Nightwish can be all that or none of that, but they’re heavy and with beautiful lyrics and arrangements which can make you cry your eyes out!

On February 7^th, the band decided to surprise us and released a new single: Noise. The lyrics and the video are clearly a critique to the abusive use of technology and remedies, depicting a dystopic world, like the one in Matrix.

The single is just a taste of what it is to come. The band is going to release the new album, Hvman Natvre, on April 10^th (same date that the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake is also going to be released). From the website, you can have some ideas about what’s coming next, there’s one CD with a lot different songs, including Noise and, another CD with one big track divided in different movements (All The Works Of Nature Which Adorn The World), each piece with its own name (The blue, The green etc).

Tuomas Holopainen is an amazing composer, and as I’m a big fan of his works, I think that this new album may be something out of this world. Following Endless Forms Most Beautiful, Hvuman Natvre, will be the ninth studio album of the band, inclusind Floor Jansen lead vocals, Troy Donockley on many different instruments and Kai Hahto on drums. The CD seems to be as epic as its predecessor. Now, all there’s left to do is wait for this release and go to the upcoming shows here, in Brazil, which are going to be on May 9^th and 10^th in Espaço das Américas (São Paulo) and Vivo Rio (Rio de Janeiro), respectively!
